BuzzVue respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how BuzzVue collects, uses, stores and shares your personal data when you visit our website, use our app, create an account, publish a profile or card, communicate with other users, or otherwise interact with our services. It also explains your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
BuzzVue is a platform designed to help entrepreneurs, freelancers, creators, professionals and businesses showcase what they can offer, share what they need, discover aligned people, and connect directly. BuzzVue provides the platform and tools to support discovery and introductions, but BuzzVue is not a party to any deal, collaboration, agreement, investment, employment arrangement, or commercial relationship entered into between users.
BuzzVue does not verify, endorse, guarantee or warrant the identity, credibility, qualifications, financial standing, legal status, intentions, or ability of any user, business, card or deal on the platform. Any discussions, agreements, payments, exchanges, collaborations or outcomes between users are entirely their own responsibility.

2. The personal data we collect

- Identity Data — your name, username, title, date of birth, business name, trading name, company details, profile photo, and other identifying information you choose to provide.
- Contact Data — your email address, telephone number, billing address, business address, and other contact details.
- Profile Data — your biography, skills, interests, experience, social links, profile content, business information, preferences, uploaded Need and Offer cards, deal terms, goals, and any other information you add to your profile or content on BuzzVue.
- Communications Data — messages sent through the platform, customer support enquiries, feedback, survey responses, and records of communications with us.
- Transaction Data — details of subscriptions, purchases, payments to BuzzVue, and other records relating to services you purchase from us.
- Financial Data — limited payment and billing information where needed to process subscriptions or other payments. Payment card processing may be handled by third-party payment providers rather than stored directly by BuzzVue.
- Technical Data — IP address, login data, browser type and version, time zone setting, device information, operating system, app version, and other technology-related information from the devices you use to access our services.
- Usage Data — information about how you use our website, app, features, content, and services.
- Marketing and Preferences Data — your communication preferences and your preferences for receiving marketing from us.

We collect personal data in a number of ways, including:
Direct interactions. You may give us your personal data when you create an account, complete your profile, upload a Need or Offer card, post or other content, subscribe to a paid plan, contact us by email, phone, post or through the app, request support, enter a survey, promotion or competition, or otherwise provide information to us directly.
Automated technologies. When you use our website or app, we may automatically collect Technical Data and Usage Data through analytics tools, device data and similar technologies. Our website does not use tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Other users. In limited cases, another user may share information about you through a message, referral, introduction or collaboration-related interaction on the platform.
Third parties or publicly available sources. We may receive data from analytics providers, payment providers, identity or business information services, and publicly available sources such as Companies House or other public business directories, where relevant and lawful to do so.

We may use your personal data to create and manage your account; provide access to the BuzzVue platform and its features; display your profile, Need and Offer cards, deal terms and other content to other users in line with your settings; help users discover relevant people, cards and content; facilitate introductions, matching, messaging and platform interactions; manage subscriptions, payments and billing; administer and protect our website, app and business; improve the platform, user experience and service performance; respond to support queries and complaints; send service-related communications; send marketing communications where permitted by law; monitor usage, detect misuse, investigate disputes, and enforce our terms; and comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting and reporting obligations.
5. Visibility of your information on BuzzVue
BuzzVue is a platform built around visibility, discovery and connection. This means that certain information you choose to add to your profile or publish through the platform may be visible to other users or, depending on the feature, more broadly within the platform. This may include your name, profile photo, bio, business name, role, location, skills, Need and Offer cards, deal terms, social links, and other content you choose to publish.
You are responsible for deciding what information you upload, publish, or share on BuzzVue. Please do not include confidential, highly sensitive, or personal information in public-facing areas of the platform unless you are comfortable sharing it.
6. Matching, introductions and user responsibility
BuzzVue may use the information you provide to help surface potentially relevant people, profiles, cards or connections. However, BuzzVue does not guarantee compatibility, quality, suitability, trustworthiness, commercial value, legal compliance, or successful outcomes from any introduction, match, discussion or connection made through the platform.
Any due diligence, negotiation, verification, agreement, payment, legal documentation, or decision to proceed with another user is entirely your responsibility. You should take your own independent advice where appropriate.
7. Marketing
We may send you service updates and, where lawful, occasional marketing communications about BuzzVue, product updates, features, events or news. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in emails or by contacting us directly.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We may use a small number of essential technologies needed to operate the website securely, and privacy-friendly analytics that do not track you across sites. 9. Sharing your personal data
We may share your personal data with:
- service providers who help us operate the platform, including hosting, analytics, communications, customer support and payment providers;
- professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants, insurers and auditors;

BuzzVue has put in place appropriate security measures to help prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, altered, disclosed or accessed in an unauthorised way. We also have procedures in place to deal with suspected personal data breaches and will notify you and any applicable regulator where we are legally required to do so.
12. Data retention
We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements. As a general guide:
- account and profile data will usually be kept while your account remains active;
- transaction and billing records may be kept for up to six years or longer where required for legal, tax, accounting or insurance purposes;

Where we no longer need your data, we will delete it or anonymise it where appropriate.

BuzzVue is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
15. Age and children
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use BuzzVue, and at least 18 years old to enter into any deal or financial arrangement through the platform. The platform is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.
